We have multiple events that are for students to explore and help their science dreams and goals

Our Current Events

Project Horizons Science Expo

Annual, Project Horizon holds a Science expo for students from all grades and experiences can come show off their projects. We aim to give students a way to get into science and learn the process needed to preform science. Our team hopes to give students a fun experience that will get them more interested in science. This events date is TBD.

Stem Workshops

During the summer, Project Horizon holds workshops for all grade levels, ranging from science demos, to showcases, to how to write and preform a study. These workshops dates and locations are TBD.

Community Science Day

A few days out of the summer, Project Horizon members and volunteers come to parks to do multiple things from experiment booths to “pop-up” labs. Dates are TBD.

“Science in the park” day

Project Horizon members come to different parks to do informal science demos, such as launching bottle rockets with students to making solar ovens. Dates are TBD.

Film Nights

Project Horizon hosts film nights so students from all grade levels as well as adults can come watch free science themed movies and documentaries. Dates are TBD.

Native Garden w/Green Team

In collaboration with Ridgelines Green Team, Project Horizon aims to bring native gardens to schools to help bring native plant and animal species back to our area.
